Western Sydney University School of Social Sciences students are seeking to learn skills and knowledge in the practice areas of working with individuals and families, group work, community work, human services, research, social action and social policy, to name a few. Social work students require supervision from a qualified social worker, where this is not available WSU can arrange an external social work supervisor to conduct the supervision, so please be sure to indicate if there are qualified social workers at your agency or if WSU need to allocate externally.
- Start date: 24 January 2022.
- Estimated end date: BSW – 30 June 2022, MSWQ – 30 May 2022.
- Number of hours of placement: 400 hours.
- Duration: 4-weeks full time, followed by Monday to Wednesday attendance until the completion of 400 hours for the BSW students and 4 weeks’ full time for the MSWQ students followed by 4 days a week attendance.
