Sewing a Bright Future: Migrant Women Take Up TAFE NSW Fashion Course

Migrant women across Western Sydney are receiving a helping hand from TAFE NSW to settle into their communities with a fee-free course to equip them with basic skills in fashion design and empower them to pursue further study in VET. Campbelltown resident and migrant, Thiekra Abdullah, half way through the course at Focus Connect Campbelltown, said the program has already had a transformational change to her life in Australia.
