Strategies for Parents to Manage Child Anxiety & Other Big Emotions
26 March 2020, 9.15am-11.15am
Cabramatta West Public School, 38 Broad St, Cabramatta
Mothers, fathers, carers and grandparents with children up to the age of 6 years are invited to this information session presented by Briget Gurton, Forensic Psychologist | Kids Konnect Psychological Services.
Worrying is a part of childhood development, however too much worrying can lead to anxiety, which can affect a child's learning and social development. Young children often don’t have the words to describe their feelings; they rely on the adults around them to make sense of their world. This session will help parents develop strategies to help children manage their anxiety and other big emotions.
