Parra Villa Function Lounge, Westfield, 42 Campbell St, Parramatta

Cost: Free. Morning tea and lunch provided.

You are invited to a community consultation with the Mental Health Commission of NSW to talk about what is working well in mental health and where improvements need to be made.

The Commission is undertaking a mid term review of "Living Well: A Strategic Plan for Mental Health in NSW 2014 - 2024", the 10-year plan for mental health reform in NSW. This consultation will inform their advice to Government on the future priorities for ongoing improvements in mental health and wellbeing for communities.

The Commission encourages people with a lived experience of mental health issues and caring, families and kinship groups, community members and representatives from Primary Health Network, Local Health Districts, community managed organisations, local government and local organisations and other services to attend the consultation.

As part of the consultation, you are also invited to hear about the Photovoice Project, a project used to encourage conversation about mental health in South Asian communities.
